It All Began...

I am Keith Raymond, B.A., C.B.A., a Business Mentor and Life Coach. I’ve been providing life coaching for personal development and helping business owners discover and develop their potential for over 7 years.

You wouldn’t be here today reviewing this site if it wasn’t for my life purpose. What started me on this incredible journey of life coaching and personal development initially began by my own quest for what is the meaning of success.

I once wandered through life frustrated and unfulfilled. In my quest for a more rewarding life, I began to consult some of the most renowned authors and books. Seven years later, after as many years of yearning and frustration, I learned what is my purpose in life. This helped me in creating a mission statement for my life:

To inspire others to pursue a life of happiness and to stimulate their potential success through sharing these elements of success.

It was the revelation – like a thousand light bulbs going off, an experience that changed my life. While I once I wandered aimlessly through life, I now had purpose and direction in my actions.

My insight into these secret elements had an infectious effect on those around me. Others began to notice this, and they began to ask me, what is it that seemed to percolate through my life? It then spilled over to helping others, family and friends discover what they wanted out of all areas in their life.

My career as a Life Coach for personal development began with a friend of mine who in his 30’s was stuck in a career rut in life. Drawing on the principles I picked up from all those great authors and books, we assessed where he was in his life and finding a purpose in life. He subsequently created a career mission statement, went back to school and eventually started a new, meaningful career that has brought him a renewed sense of direction in his life. Most importantly his stress level subsided as evidence from his improved health and wellness. I was happy and excited for him and I knew I was beginning to live a life that is purpose driven for me.

With a capability for helping people find a purpose in life, I took the next step to solidify my new found sense of purpose and become a Life Coach. In the process, I built a solid foundation of understanding of the critical success factors. While it’s great to know why people succeed and how to guide them on the path, what was missing was how to get them started in the first place. How can you start a car if there’s no gas? As a result, I began to develop my own principles and practices of success to compliment my initial training.

While I started off as a Life Coach helping many finding life purpose, I subsequently decided to take my skills to the next level as Business Coach. In many ways, what I have learned through my many years as a Life Coach is you need to have your life together first before you can achieve business success.

Being a Life Coach has its rewards, but being a Business Mentor has brought even more meaning and purpose to my life. One thing I observed through out the process is that no mater whether you are attempting to create meaning in your personal life, or looking to start a business, the same principles of success apply. You have to know why you’re doing something, before we can become successful at it.

As a Business Mentor I am enjoying the satisfaction of helping so many entrepreneurs and small business owners think and grow the business. Seeing these potential tycoons breakthrough the barriers that stifles their business potential and seeing their profits grow, continues to be a rewarding experience.
